In Memory of Morris I. Pollack - IP Counsel
June 29, 1932 - April 25, 2017
Alderman &
Alderman is deeply saddened to report the loss of our
colleague and friend, Moe Pollack, who passed away on April
25, 2017 in Boston near his loving sons and daughter.
Moe was a internationally known patent lawyer who was our
colleague and friend for over 25 years. He had a sharp
mind and a warm and engaging personality.
His clients turned to him for all aspects of intellectual
property, including patents, trademarks, and
copyright. His expertise was built upon decades of
practical experience managing complex intellectual property
issues for companies including Sperry Rand, Litton
Industries, Western Atlas and Unova.
Morris took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge with
others, whether as a faculty member on panels for Continuing
Legal Education or in the classroom teaching college
students.
He will be missed by the colleagues and clients who
had the privilege to call Moe a friend, as we know he
is missed by his surviving children, grandchildren and other
friends.
Moe earned his engineering degree from New Jersey Institute
of Technology in 1954. Upon graduation, Moe moved to
Washington D.C., where he worked for the Patent and
Trademark Office while working his way through law school at
George Washington University.
