We are pleased to announce that Chad L. Edgard has joined Alderman & Alderman as litigation counsel in our Hartford office.
Mr. Edgar brings with him years of litigation experience honed at Sidley Austin, a firm recognized internationally for its litigation practice, and a smaller AV-rated firm in New York City. Chad’s experience includes representation of corporate clients in a broad range of high stakes – high profile cases, including business fraud, employment discrimination and trademark infringement. He has also represented many high-profile clients in sensitive matters, including alleged white-collar criminal fraud.
Attorney Edgar’s written advocacy has gained wide praise. The strength of Mr. Edgar’s written advocacy is based on a lifetime of writing on a professional level, commencing with an award-winning dissertation which he wrote while obtaining his Ph.D. from New York University and continuing with the publication of a scholarly article and the teaching of literature at various institutions, including the University of Wisconsin and New York University.
Chad earned his JD, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He earned his BA from Bates, graduating Cum laude and Phi Beta Kapa. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association the New Haven County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and the New York County Law Association.
Attorney Edgar is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, the United States District Courts for Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Connecticut and also admitted to practice in the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal. He joins Alderman & Alderman as Litigation Of Counsel.
